"The purity of a person's heart can be quickly measured by how they regard animals."

In Loving Memory
We all have loved ones who have passed on that we think of always. Snug Harbor is all about family in every aspect. We wanted to be able to honor those you miss, that have inspired you, that loved animals too, or just somebody you miss. Sponsor one of our sanctuary animals in their memory, tell us about them, send us a picture of them and let us remember them together.
We will honor them by posting their picture and story you would like to share, along with what animal you choose to sponsor for them, in their loving memory.

One year sponsorship is a $100 donation, visit the sponsorship tab to view our sanctuary animals who need sponsoring, send in your donation through the donation page here on our website. On that same form you can write in about your loved one and attach a photo. Feel free to send more pictures or information to our email SnugHarborWildlifeSC@gmail.com.

Marvin & Shirley LeGrand
Marvin and Shirley LeGrand are the grandparents of Heather Cooper, our President and Founder. Growing up she spent a lot of time spending the night with grandparents. Their backyard was beautiful, silent all but the sound of the trickling water coming from the bird baths running. Three or four bird feeders lined the bushes, always filled to the top. Watching the birds from the kitchen window was always a treat during breakfast. Those simple moments created a deep respect and passion for wildlife.
"I wish they could see me now, or known before they left this passion they helped mold, has led to so much greatness and joy,"
-Heather Cooper
Proud granddaughter of Marvin and Shirley

HauLtin
HauLtin not only was one handsome boy, but his mother describes him as "the best boy", She got to enjoy 14 beautiful years with him and misses him daily.
HauLtin's father (Harley) was from the Czech Republic, he was born with 11 other littermates!
Thank you to the Mahar Family for sharing his memory with us!
